QUALITY INSPECTOR 1st & 2nd SHIFT
VANCE ALABAMA TUSCALOOSA PLANT
As a member of the quality team the quality team member will be responsible ensuring that seats are given a final inspection prior to shipment to the customer
The Role:
Your work will include but not be limited to:
Assist with the execution of EOL/FAM testers front and rear seat inspections and blind audit
Demonstrate knowledge of customer specifications and quality requirements
All non-conformances are either immediately repaired and re-inspected or identified and segregated from conforming product
Achieve operator certification according to the plant certification process
Adhere to the standard work instructions (SWIs) forms work instructions and procedures
Participate in team meetings and understands performance goals and objectives
Assure safety and quality standards are followed at all times
Contribute to continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
Performing all other duties assigned.

- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of use of measurement devices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-volume manufacturing environment
