Leisure Assistant
Casual
Grade A(13.03 - 14.79 per hour)
Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Equal Pay Programme
Based at Shard End Leisure Centre - as and when required
We are currently seeking self-motivated and suitably skilled individuals to join the Sport and Physical Activity service team on a casual basis. Working as part of a team in a busy front-line service that will at times require you to be able to priorities customer needs with programme procedures and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff and service users complying with all relevant health and safety legislation.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all facilities.
- Promote and support marketing campaigns and uphold the services brand.
- Deliver excellent customer service in line with the Customer Charter.
- Support the wellbeing of children young people and vulnerable adults.
- Carry out routine administrative tasks and other duties as required.
- Evening and weekend work is required as part of the normal working pattern.
We are looking for individuals with relevant experience in a leisure and customer services environment as well as ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness housekeeping hygiene security and safety of the facilities.
