Team Manager

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Liverpoolto assist with the appointment of a Team Manager on a 3-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 32.60 - 44.00 per hour

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Team Manager to lead a Family Help team providing management oversight supervision and support to Consultant Social Workers Social Workers and Outreach Family Support Workers. The role is responsible for ensuring high-quality social work practice improving outcomes for children and young people and promoting a positive safe and effective working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct line management to Consultant Social Workers Social Workers and Outreach Family Support Workers.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality child-focused social work practice across the team.
• Oversee case management ensuring appropriate interventions are in place to improve outcomes for children young people and families.
• Provide regular supervision guidance and management oversight to staff and supervisors.
• Support Consultant Social Workers in carrying out their supervisory and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Social Work qualification (Degree DipSW CQSW or equivalent).
• Registration with the relevant Social Work regulatory body.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Essentials:

• Significant post-qualification experience within Childrens Social Care or Family Help Services.
• Previous experience supervising mentoring or managing Social Work staff.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation policies and best practice.
• Experience managing complex cases and providing professional oversight.
• Ability to lead motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing performance attendance and staff wellbeing.
• Strong decision-making problem-solving and risk management skills.

• This role requires an Enhanced DBS
