• Job Title: Laboratory Team Leader - Contamination  
• Job Type: Temporary 12 Months 
• Location: Cambridge 
• Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm 
• Salary:  from 28000 pa

Overview

• To manage the maintenance and operation of blending & extraction instrumentation to enable high standards of analytical preparation ensuring that requirements of ISO 17025 (accredited by UKAS) are met.
• Manage and supervise a team of technicians including scheduling workload allocation and performance monitoring driving performance compliance and continuous improvement
• Lead and support a team of technicians within the Blending and extraction lab
• Oversee calibration of equipment and quality requirements are met in the department.
• Manage inventory of consumables reagents and spare parts to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Quality Assurance R&D or Production to support business goals

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience already in a senior lab position and looking to take their next step up or a junior team leader looking for a better fit! 

• Degree level qualified in Chemistry 
• Experience with working in a contract laboratory 
• Experience in working in a high volume turnaround environment
