Job Summary
To manage and lead a secretarial and administration team to provide excellent secretarial and administrative support to both internal and external clients to ensure the smooth running of the firm.
About the role
- Lead and manage the secretarial team to enable high performance
- Allocate delegate and balance workloads in line with capability and capacity
- Ensure appropriate cover including holiday planning
- Act as first point of contact for office and administrative matters
- Attend and coordinate operational and service line meetings
- Ensure efficient administrative processes and drive continuous improvement
- Lead manage and support the administration team to ensure the efficient daytoday running of the office/service line
- Allocate and prioritise workloads taking into account team members skills experience and capacity
- Monitor service delivery to ensure administrative support meets the needs of internal and external clients
- Liaise with partners managers and technical teams to support workflow planning and deadlines
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiency
- Support recruitment induction training and ongoing development of administration staff
- Maintaining and supporting facilities supervisor regarding landlords and tenants of buildings
