Restaurant Team Leader

Our restaurant welcomes between 650 and 800 guests every day serving breakfast lunch and dinner 365 days a year. Its a fast-paced energetic environment where no two days are the same.

What youll be doing

As a Restaurant Team Leader youll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our restaurant while inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service at every meal.

• Lead motivate and support a large waiting team creating a positive and welcoming working environment.
• Be hands-on throughout service leading by example and helping the team deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Ensure our high service standards are consistently maintained providing every guest with the 5-Star experience Potters Resorts is known for.
• Carry out restaurant and station checks with great attention to detail ensuring everything is ready for service.
• Monitor service throughout each shift responding quickly to changing priorities and supporting the team wherever needed.
• Resolve guest queries professionally and confidently ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and wider leadership team to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant.
• Build strong working relationships across the resort communicating effectively with colleagues in every department.
• Coach encourage and develop the team helping individuals grow in confidence and reach their full potential.

Qualifications :

Were looking for someone who enjoys leading people takes pride in delivering exceptional service and thrives in a busy hospitality environment.

Youll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a supervisory Team Leader or senior hospitality role (or be ready to take the next step in your career).
• A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• The ability to remain calm organised and positive in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive hands-on approach and a willingness to lead by example.
• Experience of coaching developing or mentoring team members would be an advantage.
• A flexible approach to working shifts including weekends and bank holidays as part of a 365-day operation.

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality venue.
• Knowledge of food safety and health & safety practices.
• A Level 2 Food Safety certificate (or willingness to complete training).
