Hemyock Primary Schoolare seeking an inspirational Primary School Teacher to join our dedicated school team in Year 5 from November 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about delivering highquality teaching and helping every child achieve their full potential.

About the Role

As a Teacher you will deliver highquality teaching and learning in line with the Teachers Standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning preparing and teaching engaging lessons tailored to pupils individual needs

  • Leading by example to secure high standards of behaviour motivation and achievement

  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress using data to inform planning and targetsetting

  • Reporting to parents and contributing to school improvement processes

  • Creating a safe stimulating and inclusive learning environment

  • Working collaboratively with support staff and colleagues across the school

  • Contributing to performance management training and wholeschool initiatives

  • Upholding school values behaviour expectations and community ethos

What Were Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher who can bring positivity professionalism and a strong commitment to childrens learning.

Essential attributes include:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an ECT

  • Recent successful teaching experience inEYFS KS1 or KS2

  • Strong behaviour management skills and understanding of highquality teaching and learning

  • Ability to teach pupils of all abilities and use ICT effectively in lessons

  • Excellent communication organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice

  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils staff parents and the wider community

Desirable attributes include:

  • Experience leading a curriculum area

  • Excellent ICT skills and ability to contribute to policy development

  • Experience teaching across multiple primary key stages

  • Ability to organise extracurricular activities
