Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs to achieve their best Clare Mount Specialist Sports College one of the largest special secondary schools in the UK is looking for a suitably qualified Medication Officer to join our supportive staff community.
About the Role
Your role will involve leading a dedicated team of HLTAs and TAs working closely with a number of pupils who require medication on a daily basis with other pupils requiring support in relation to epilepsy diabetes food allergies and other medical needs. Whilst strictly adhering to statutory health and safety regulations by ensuring accurate records are maintained and auditing and tracking of medication is logged.

What Were Looking For
An experienced and qualified HLTA in a similar role or equivalent or with supervisory experience in nursing or care.
Substantial experience in healthcare administration
Patience creativity and initiative
Flawless attention to detail strong IT skills and a calm compassionate demeanor under pressure
Enthusiasm and commitment to supporting the highest standard of physical well-being safety and inclusion for pupils
Serve as the direct link between the school parent/carers
Enhanced DBS required
