Since 2009 ECLs dedicatedsensory team hasdelivered a range of services across Essex for people whohave sight hearing or dual sensory objective is to develop asociety where people with sensory impairments have the same access to servicesand businesses as everyone else.
As a Rehabilitation Assistantyou will work closely with our specialist Rehabilitation Workers to supportsensory impaired adults to maximise their independence through assessment andtraining.
About You
To be considered asSensory Rehabilitation Assistantyouneed:
Valid driving licence and car or access to car and driver to be able to travel to customers
Excellent and adaptable communication skills
The ability to develop and maintain professional networks
Confident IT skills
The ability to manage and prioritise your own caseload
A proactive approach to work
Experience of working with people who are hard of hearing Deaf sight impaired blind or dual sensory impaired (deafblind)
Sensory specialist qualifications (desirable)

55p paid per mile tax-free
Up to 32 days annual leave a year (inclusive of bank holidays)
