Sample Management Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Receive samples perform integrity checks and complete all necessary documentation
• Log samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) managing storage and disposals
• Work as part of an operational team to prepare samples for analysis in a timely manner
• Conduct analytical work using appropriate techniques and in accordance with regulatory standards (e.g. ISO 17025)
• Act in compliance with the site Health & Safety Policy
• Maintain a clean tidy and well-equipped work area observing operational regulations

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level with 5 GCSEs graded A-C (or 9-4)
• Experience in a regulated laboratory environment is advantageous
• Sound computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office
