Facilities & Asset Management Technical Lead

Salary: 39862 - 41771 per annum

Join our Property Investments & Operations (PI&O) service and play a key role in supporting the effective management of the councils General Fund (GF) estate. This includes contributing to the delivery performance and continuous improvement of maintenance capital works compliance and facilities services across a diverse portfolio including Hubs Depots Schools Leisure Centres and Libraries.

As a Technical Lead you will support the oversight and improvement of service delivery across the operational estate. You will assess performance review asset and contract outputs and identify opportunities to enhance systems processes and procedures. Working closely with Asset Portfolio Managers FM Delivery Managers and operational teams you will help ensure that buildings remain safe compliant and fit for purpose supporting the councils statutory responsibilities.

You will undertake analysis develop evidence-based recommendations and support the delivery of projects and service improvements across areas such as building maintenance compliance and facilities management. This includes contributing to business cases performance reporting and the implementation of new approaches to improve service efficiency and risk management.

We are looking for a candidate with relevant experience in property facilities management or building services with strong knowledge of compliance health & safety and asset management principles. You will demonstrate the ability to deliver projects analyse complex issues influence stakeholders and drive service improvements with excellent communication organisational and relationship management skills.
