Job Summary
Job Title: Residential Support Worker
Location: Doncaster DN8 4RR
Salary:per year
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 24 36 or 48-hour contracts available. 12-hour shifts days and nights.
Employment Type: Permanent (full-time and part-time available)
Sleep-ins: Only undertaken where a specific need is identified. Paid at 73 per sleep.
Service: Childrens Home (newly opening)
Service Users: Young people with social emotional and mental health needs autism and learning disabilities.
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). If you do not yet hold this our client will fund it and support you throughout.
Experience Required: Experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting.
The Home: Ofsted rating: our clients homes are all rated Good or Outstanding.
Who we are looking for: A positive can do attitude a team player with a genuine passion for helping others. Resilience empathy and a real commitment to young people. A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months. Someone who will be a strong role model able to build rapport quickly and be there for young people through both the highs and the lows.
Who you will be working for: Company type/size: an established group of childrens homes. Future plans: currently opening new homes in the Doncaster area as part of continued growth.
