Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Manager Childrens Residential Home

Location: Swindon

Salary: Starting from 45000 per annum (depending on experience) plus performance-related bonuses

Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Generally Monday to Friday 9am5pm. Flexibility required as the service operates 24/7 365 days per year.

Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Service: Childrens Residential Home

Qualifications Required: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards the qualification

Experience Required: Minimum three years working with children within the last five years including at least one year in a senior position within childrens residential care

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic resilient and experienced leader who has successfully managed an Ofsted-rated Good or Outstanding childrens home.

The successful candidate will:

Be passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people

Have experience leading and developing residential childcare teams

Be confident managing Ofsted inspections and regulatory compliance

Have strong safeguarding knowledge and experience

Be capable of managing budgets staffing structures and service development

Build effective relationships with local authorities commissioners families and partner agencies

Demonstrate excellent leadership communication and organisational skills

Be committed to continuous improvement and achieving at least a Good Ofsted rating
