Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Manager Childrens Services

Location: Salford

Salary: Up to 50000 per year (DOE) plus an annual quality and commercial bonus from 5000

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

Service: Childrens Home (2-bedded currently one settled young person)

Service Users: Children and young people with behavioural emotional and social difficulties

Qualifications Required: Level 3 in Childrens Residential Care (essential); Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (preferred at point of application or willingness to enrol within 6 months of starting)

Experience Required: At least 2 years in a role related to residential care of children including at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years

Who we are looking for: Someone passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people in care with a strong understanding of the Quality Standards SCCIF childcare legislation and regulatory requirements. Youll be confident in planning organising budget control resource allocation and team leadership with efficient spoken and written communication skills and an understanding of the needs of children with behavioural emotional and social difficulties including managing challenging behaviour. A full UK driving licence is required.
