Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Manager Childrens Home
Location: Whitchurch

Salary:per annum
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Service: Childrens Residential Home
Service Users: Children and young people who have experienced severe trauma and adversity
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young Peoples Services (or equivalent)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager including achieving Good or Outstanding inspection outcomes

The Home:
Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a therapeutically informed childrens residential home focused on rebuilding young lives through safety stability and social inclusion. This is an opportunity to join a growing provider where leadership is hands-on collaborative and genuinely influential.

Number of beds: 34 beds

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a strong visible and inspirational leader who is passionate about achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

You will have proven experience leading an Ofsted-regulated childrens home with a strong understanding of Childrens Homes Regulations Quality Standards safeguarding and team leadership.

You will be confident in:
Recruiting and onboarding residential staff
Leading supervising and developing care teams
Managing training compliance and performance
Reviewing referrals and assessing placement suitability
Working closely with local authorities and external professionals
Maintaining regulatory compliance and Ofsted readiness
Managing budgets and operational resources effectively
Creating a culture of unconditional positive regard alongside clear boundaries and expectations
