Registered Manager

Location: Birmingham

Salary: 50000 - 55000 per annum DOE plus 5000 OTE bonus

Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week

Employment Type: Permanent

Service: Childrens Home (two-bedroom)

Service Users: Children and young people with EBD (emotional and behavioural difficulties)

Qualifications Required: Level 3 in Childrens Residential Care (essential); Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (preferred at point of application or willingness to enrol within 6 months of starting)

Experience Required: At least 2 years in a position related to residential care of children with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years

Who we are looking for: Someone passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people in care with a strong understanding of the Quality Standards SCCIF childcare legislation and regulatory requirements. Youll be confident in planning organising budget control resource allocation and team leadership with effective spoken and written communication skills and knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural emotional and social difficulties including managing challenging behaviour. A full UK driving licence is required.
