Registered Manager

Location: East Lancashire / Greater Manchester

Salary: Up to 75000 per annum (including discretionary bonus of up to 10000 for dual-home responsibility)

Service: Childrens Residential Home

Qualifications Required: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)

Experience Required: Significant experience in residential childrens care including leadership or management experience within an Ofsted-regulated childrens home

The Home:

Our client is looking for an experienced and compassionate Childrens Registered Manager to lead one of their therapeutic childrens homes. This is an opportunity to make a lasting difference by creating a safe nurturing and child-centred environment where young people can thrive.

As Registered Manager you will be responsible for the overall leadership management and development of the home ensuring children receive high-quality therapeutic care while maintaining full compliance with the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards.

You will have:

• Significant experience within residential childrens care.

• Leadership or management experience in an Ofsted-regulated childrens home.

• A thorough understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• Strong knowledge of the Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.

• A therapeutic trauma-informed and child-centred approach.

• The ability to lead motivate and develop high-performing teams.

• Excellent organisational communication and decision-making skills.
