EMBS Engineering is in partnership with an engineering company located in Derbyshire that manufactures using a range of different engineering technologies to create and develop specialist components to be supplied into Defence Aerospace Industrial Power and a range of high profile markets.

Due to our clients increased workload they are looking to expand their team and are currently seeking a Ream and Clean operative. This position will be based at their site in Derby where you will have the opportunity to work in a clean and advanced manufacturing environment.

What experience do you need

• Previous experience as a Ream & Clean Operative or similar role is preferred

• Worked within the Aerospace industry

• Ability to perform various methods such as deburring linishing finishing polishing grinding

• Experience with Blast and Barrel and / or Pin Check inspection would be desirable

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Adherence to safety protocols and procedures
