All about the role:

This is a varied and rewarding role that will play a key part in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school. Working closely with staff parents/carers and external professionals you will provide high-quality administrative support across a range of school functions including the coordination of Annual Reviews and pupil administration processes. Main responsibilities:

administrative support to the schools Pupil Services Team to ensure a smooth running of the support services
and take minutes of Annual Review meetings.
effectively with members of the wider school community including all staff parents/carers and members of the public
efficient administrative support for members of the school community including Senior Leadership Team Governors school staff parents/carers and pupils
maximise the use of ICT and Management Information Systems across all office functions ensuring data accuracy and integrity
ensure the schools values are upheld at all times
to share ICT skills with colleagues both in the office and in the wider school community
that all data is treated with appropriate consideration to confidentiality and security.
with parents/carers and support agencies as necessary
that cover is provided for receptionist duties such as answering the telephone and welcoming visitors as required
with all school policies and procedures especially those relating to child protection; administrative function; health safety and security; confidentiality and data protection reporting any concerns to an appropriate person
aware of and support difference and ensure equal opportunities for all
to the overall ethos/vision/aims of the school
constructive relationships and communicate with other agencies/professionals when required
in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
any other duties appropriate to the grade and responsibilities of the post as directed by the line manager

About you:

The successful candidate will:

Have previous administrative experience preferably within an education or office environment.
Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Demonstrate a professional positive and flexible approach to work.
Be confident using Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
