This is a senior-level opportunity suited to someone with a strong background in building performance and energy modelling alongside proven team management and leadership experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading projects managing and developing consultants and supporting the continued growth of the business.

The Role

• Lead the delivery of complex building physics and energy modelling projects across multiple sectors
• Manage project delivery through all stages ensuring technical excellence and commercial performance
• Oversee dynamic simulation modelling and building performance analysis using IES VE
• Deliver TM52 TM54 TM59 Part O Part L SBEM and EPC assessments
• Produce decarbonisation strategies and support SALIX funding applications
• Act as a senior technical lead for clients architects contractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Manage mentor and develop junior and senior consultants within the team
• Support wider business growth and strategic decision-making

The Ideal Candidate

• Extensive experience within Building Physics / Sustainability Consultancy
• Advanced capability with IES VE and dynamic simulation modelling
• Strong technical knowledge across overheating operational energy compliance and performance modelling
• Previous management or team leadership experience is essential
• Proven ability to lead complex projects independently
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Degree qualified in Building Services Sustainability Mechanical Engineering or similar
