About the role

Planning Assistant - Training

We are looking for a Planning Assistant who will join the Training department. You will play key role in administering and monitoring learning courses Force wide ensuring all courses are full enrolled and staff abstractions are accurately recorded on the relevant systems.

Working as part of the Demand Planning and Events team you will support the effective coordination of training by maintaining accurate records updating systems and helping to ensure colleagues are enrolled onto the learning they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create training events using relevant computer systems to facilitate necessary learning.
  • Process course enrolments and update staff abstractions on the Duty Management system
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure relevant systems are kept upto date.
  • Assist with audits to support high standards of customer service.
  • Respond appropriately to enquiries and refer issues requiring further support to the relevant supervisor.
  • Promote equality diversity and human rights within the work place.

Who Were Looking For

Youll have excellent written and verbal communication skills alongside strong interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be able to priorities workload work to tight deadlines and build effective working relationships with a range of colleagues.

  • Good computer literacy
  • Excellent IT skills in Windows-based applications including: Word Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to use searching tools
  • Experience in collating and updating data

Selection Process

Important Information

Vetting: Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process.

Medical: Appointment to this role will be dependent upon you successfully passing medical checks which may if required include a drugs and hearing test.
