You will join the UK Payroll team within Regional HR Operations supporting theaccurateandtimelypayment of Deutsche Bank employees across the UKIrelandand Sweden. As a Payroll Reporting Specialist you will playan important rolein payroll reporting reconciliations balance sheetsubstantiationand employment duty related activity. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Payroll CompensationFinanceand wider HR Operations helping ensure payroll accounts and reporting outputs areaccurate controlled and delivered on time. This is an opportunity to build specialist payrollreportingand reconciliation experience in a collaborative team supporting a complex high-volume environment.

Your key responsibilities
Prepare and support UK and Ireland regulatory and statutory payroll reporting including PAYE Settlement Agreement Gender Pay Gap Reporting and Director Remuneration reporting.
Complete UK and Ireland payroll reconciliations before expenses are booked into the finance system and shared with Compensation Finance.
Ensure payroll accounts accurately reflect the payroll payable position and that outstanding items are cleared within expected timelines.
Act as Primary Account Owner and substantiation preparer for UKIrelandand Sweden compensation related balance sheet accounts.
Manage payroll and compensation finance related queries from internal and external stakeholders building strong and trusted working relationships.
Monitorauthoriseand record manualpayrollbank account payments including recording transactions into finance systems and the relevant general ledger accounts.
Your skills and experience
Experience in payroll reconciliations ideally gained within a high-volume UK payroll environment.
Good understanding of payroll reporting payrollaccountingand employment tax return processes.
Strong planningorganisationand follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and on time.
Ability to work collaboratively with Payroll Finance and HR stakeholders providing clear and service-focused support.
A continuous learning mindset with openness to innovationchangeand process improvement.
Experience using SAP Payroll or similar payroll systemswould bebeneficial.
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity optimise workflows to solve business problems while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
