Fixed term in the first instance until 31 August 2027
37 hours per week x 46.784 total paid weeks
28 572 - 33 326 per annum (subject to payrise)
(NB this salary will be proportionately reduced to reflect part/term time only working)

Redruth School is a successful school set in beautiful West Cornwall. We are looking to appoint a Pastoral Year Lead who is passionate adaptable and enthusiastic about working with young people within an educational this role you will take a pro-active role in the support of the educational social and physical needs of our students developing positive working relationships with your cohort and their families.

Applicants will need:

be qualified to A level or equivalent
have the ability to support a year team which consists of approximately 10 tutors and 300 students
have experience of working with young people
have experience of working with and referring to external agencies that support young people
have awareness or experience of working in a trauma informed way
have excellent communication skills
have self-motivation and a friendly manner
have a high standard of computer literacy and excellent organisational skills
to challenge and support young people to ensure they reach their potential both in terms of character and academic outcomes.
