Nursery Practitioner

Up to 29300 per annum 40 Hours Per Week

Our client is looking for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their welcoming nursery team. Set within a beautiful character building the nursery offers a warm and inspiring environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence independence and a lifelong love of learning.

Children benefit from thoughtfully designed age-specific rooms that provide stimulating learning experiences tailored to each stage of their development. Outdoor play is a key part of the nurserys daily routine giving children regular opportunities to explore nature stay active and develop essential physical and social skills through meaningful play.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring enthusiastic and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and participate in engaging activities that support childrens learning and development
  • Create a safe stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with children families and colleagues
  • Observe assess and monitor childrens progress
  • Support childrens emotional social physical and cognitive development
  • Encourage outdoor learning and make full use of the nurserys outdoor environment
  • Maintain safeguarding health & safety and nursery standards at all times
