Wirral Council is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our busy Wallasey Adult Social Care Team to cover 9 month Maternity Leave. This is a key role where youll work alongside another Advanced Practitioner supporting complex and high-risk cases while helping shape best practice across the service.
About the role:
- Manage a small caseload involving safeguarding high-risk situations and Court of Protection work
- Support practitioners with challenging cases and provide professional leadership and mentoring
- Lead safeguarding processes including chairing protection meetings
- Ensure person-centred assessments care planning and effective risk management
- Work with partners and safeguarding teams to improve practice and outcomes
- Contribute to service development innovation and policy improvements
- Quality assure reports assessments and court documentation
