Are you ready to take your career to the next level Boots Opticians is on the lookout for a passionateMerchandising Lead New Product Introduction (NPI)to join our dynamic team at our Nottingham Support Office. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in bringing the latest styles to our customers across our extensive range of brands.

What youll be doing

As a key member of our Commercial team you will collaborate closely with our Buying and Supply Chain teams to deliver an ambitious frame refresh programme launching over 500 new products each year into our growing network of 550 stores. Your expertise will ensure that our product offerings remain fresh and appealing making a real difference in our customers shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Buyers and Supply Leads to plan product discontinuations and new introductions considering store workload and stock availability.

  • Update planograms in line with critical paths to ensure optimal product placement.

  • Calculate POS and price sticker requirements for each range refresh.

  • Provide data-driven recommendations to Buyers on brand distribution based on performance insights.

  • Create engaging content for store communications to facilitate seamless product launches.

What youll need to have (our must-haves)

  • Extensive experience with Excel and strong analytical skills.

  • A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to project management.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with space planning and planogramming systems.

It would be great if you also have

  • A background in merchandising or retail management.

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
