Job Summary

Location: Milton Park Oxfordshire

Pay Rate: 25.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am 5:00pm (45 hours per week)

Contract: Temporary assignment from 1st July 2026 to 22nd July 2026

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a facilities management team supporting a commercial site at Milton Park.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience in mechanical building services and plant maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical plant and equipment
Responding to reactive maintenance tasks and breakdowns
Inspecting maintaining and repairing pumps and associated equipment
Servicing and maintaining Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Filter Units (FFUs)
Monitoring and maintaining closed loop systems
Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs
Ensuring all maintenance records and compliance documentation are completed accurately
Working in accordance with health and safety regulations and site procedures

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Mechanical Engineer within facilities management commercial building services or industrial environments
Strong knowledge of:
- Pumps
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Fan Filter Units (FFUs)
- Closed loop systems
Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
