We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our hospitality team. If you have a passion for food and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Your Role – Enhancing Mealtimes Enriching Lives
As a Catering Assistant you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nutritious meals that bring comfort and enjoyment to our residents. Working closely with our Chef you’ll support all aspects of food preparation and service ensuring every mealtime is a positive and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities
Meal Preparation: Assist with washing peeling chopping and preparing fresh ingredients
Cooking Support: Follow recipes and assist with cooking and presentation of meals
Meal Service: Plate and serve meals ensuring dietary needs and presentation standards are met
Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas equipment and utensils in line with food safety regulations
Stock Control: Help monitor stock levels rotate ingredients and support inventory checks
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role is preferred (minimum 1 year desirable)
Training: Food Hygiene Certificate is ideal (training can be provided)
Attitude: A positive proactive approach with a willingness to learn and contribute to a resident-focused environment
Team Player: Able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues and residents
