We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Councils Regulatory Compliance Team as a Housing Dispute Resolution Manager.

Your role

As the successful candidate you will lead and manage the strategic and operational response to housing disrepair complaints HHSRS (Health and Housing Safety Rating System) hazards and condition-related disputes with a particular focus on damp and mould.

Your role will be to ensure timely legally compliant resolution of complaints and disrepair cases in line with housing legislation the Housing Ombudsmans Complaint Handling Code and new legal requirements such as Awaabs Law.

What you will need

You will have experience of managing staff teams or multidisciplinary working groups in a social housing setting and have depth knowledge of disrepair law HHRSR and related housing condition standards; requiring experience responding to or managing legal disrepair claims and complaints within a social housing setting.
