The Head of Corporate Cyber Security is responsible for cyber security across all Corporate and back office services and technologies and will contribute to accelerating technology transformation across the entire enterprise.
Reporting directly into the CISO the Head of Corporate Cyber Security will be a key member of the CISO function with a critical responsibility for embedding effective approaches to cyber security within the functions delivering corporate technology services. You will be responsible for setting the strategical direction of a team that is responsible for ensuring the appropriate controls are implemented within corporate services and that cyber risks are proactively identified managed and mitigated. You will be a proven leader in cyber security and be responsible for driving the continuous improvement of Corporate cyber security.
The Head of Corporate Cyber Security will actively contribute within the organisation to drive the strategic approach and vision required to proactively define and address Post Offices current and future cyber security obligations. The role will be expected to deliver good quality in tight timescales the person in role will be required to resolve disputes promptly and find solutions to complex addition the role will require analysis of data and drafting reports for review & presentation.

TECHNICAL
- 10 years of experience in cyber security with at least 5 years in Proven track record of managing cybersecurity risks and designing risk mitigation strategies.
- Experience of multiple cyber security disciplines - Governance & Compliance Assurance Operations etc
- Knowledge and experience in cloud and on premise technology stacks security and DP related compliance legal & regulatory frameworks and standards including Cyber Essentials Plus NIST ISO27001 ITIL PCI/DSS and GDPR
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks
- Experience of implementing and monitoring IT controls in a large/enterprise organisation
- Proficiency in preparation of reports dashboards and documentation

- Enable the Corporate Security team to manage their own individual performances and career progression.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively simplify complex ideas for Corporates and business stakeholders at all levels ranging from board members to technical specialists.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in computer science information systems cyber security or related field.
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) / other Cloud Security certification
