We are looking for an experienced and ambitious leader to join us as Head of Adults Commissioning. This is a key strategic role leading the commissioning of adult social care services across Wiltshire and helping shape how we respond to future demand improve outcomes and deliver value for money.

Working closely with health partners providers elected members and colleagues across the council you will lead transformation influence system wide priorities and ensure services continue to meet the needs of our communities.

We are seeking a visible and credible leader with strong commissioning experience commercial awareness and the ability to build effective partnerships. You will be politically astute focused on delivery and committed to developing high performing teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Service seeking a new challenge or a senior leader ready to step into a broader strategic role within a large and ambitious unitary authority.

Our hybrid working model means office staff are on site for at least half their working hours each week community-based staff care out at least half of their admin time in a workplace and customer facing roles work entirely from their service location.
