Role: Forward Deployed Engineer (UK/EU)

5 - 8 years of experience as an FDE applied AI engineer technical consultant or similar hands- on delivery role at an AI- first startup or project- based consulting firm
Work experience
Shipped agentic/AI systems in production inside customer environments - hands- on with MCPs and APIs.
Owned full delivery lifecycle - scoping build and go- live
Background in retail e- commerce CPG or supply chain operations
Startup or project- based consulting experience (Big Four early- stage startup)
Driven expansions and upsells to generate business impact.
Hard skills
Hands- on with LLMs agent frameworks prompt engineering and evals
Can write integration glue code (Python JS SQL APIs)
Soft skills
Strong customer- facing presence - commands the room and speaks in numbers and business impact
Miscellaneous
Willing to travel frequently to customer sites across EU/UK (3 days/week during active deployments)
