Whatyoullbe doing
Werelooking for a Flammable Gas Manager to lead the safecompliantand effective management of flammable gas systems across our Water Recycling business.
This is a critical role in ensuring the safe operation of key assets across our Water Recycling sites helping to protect our peoplecommunitiesand environment.
This is a critical technical leadership role with company-wide responsibility for Anglian Watersflammablegas(predominately focusedon Biogas)systemsandinstallations ensuring policies standards and safe systems of work are delivered across sites.
Youllplay a key role in ensuring compliance with gas and health and safety legislation particularly the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998.
Working closely with operational teams supply chain partners safety specialistsregulatorsand external suppliersyoullprovideexpert advice on existing and future gas installations.
Youlloversee maintenance inspectiontestingand audit regimes across a diverse portfolio of assets.
This role also acts as Anglian Waters representative for Gas Safe compliance.
Youllact as the lead point of contact for gas-related incidents and investigations including engagement with external regulators such as the Health and Safety Executive.

What does it take to be successful
A proactive safety-first approach with a focus on continuous improvementalongside:
Strong technical knowledge of flammable gas systems (such as biogasLPGor natural gas)
A solid understanding of relevant legislation particularly Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998
Experienceoperatingwithin safety-critical or highly regulated environments
The ability to collaborate and influence across operational teamspartnersand external stakeholders
Experience supporting or leading incident investigation and assurance activities
Above all youllbe passionate about keeping people safe and helping to shape the future of gas safetyacrossour Water Recycling business.
