Financial Controller

The role
Youll be the person who takes ownership of the finance function at Mammoth and shapes how our business operates and scales. As a Financial Controller youre leading the finance function day to day while bringing greater clarity control and commercial insight into the business. This is a hands-on leadership role with real influence. Its ideal for someone ready to step into a No.1 position and shape the financial direction of a creative business.

Who youll work with
Day to day youll manage and develop one team member. Youll also partner closely with the MD and Managing Partners on financial performance and planning. Youll work with external accountants to take ownership of VAT and corporation tax processes.

What youll do
Own all core finance operations including invoicing cash flow forecasting and reporting. Lead budgeting cycles and profitability analysis across clients and projects. Improve systems processes and reporting to support a growing agency. Youll bring greater clarity control and commercial insight into the business.

What were looking for
Youre professionally qualified (ACCA CIMA or ACA) with a degree in finance accounting or economics. You have 5 years of experience ideally within an agency or project-based business. You have a strong working knowledge of Sage and agency management systems (Synergist preferred). Youre comfortable operating across both detail and strategy. Youre commercially sharp and astute able to translate numbers into insight and influence decisions. Youre ambitious with the appetite to grow into a broader finance leadership role over time.
