The Facilities Project Engineer is responsible for planning construction safety and maintenance of building infrastructure or manufacturing/production equipment and systems. May be responsible for the repair maintenance installation and enhancement of machinery and mechanical equipment.

This position reports to the Senior Facilities Manager and is part of the Facilities Department located in Harbourgate and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Plan coordinate and execute facilities projects within agreed scope budget and timelines including refurbishments equipment upgrades building improvements and infrastructure works.
• Develop project scopes timelines budgets and resource plans.
• Liaise with contractors vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to specification.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation reports and risk assessments.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant building codes safety standards and company policies.

Who you are:

• NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical Mechanical Facilities Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience managing small to medium facilities projects.
• Good knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (COSHH NEBOSH PUWER)
• Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) a software solution used in facilities management to plan track and optimize maintenance activities and asset performance or other facilities management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel to other sites and work at our Langstone Park Facility
• Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift move or carry equipment and any other physical requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Project Management qualification (Prince2 Agile PMP)
• Previous experience of working in a fast paced Facilties Department
