As Executive Assistant you will deal with a wide range of people across the most senior levels of the organisation as well as external customers including MPs and directors of partner organisations. You will be responsible for monitoring and tracking a high volume of correspondence as well as coordinating high level meetings including minute taking complex diary management preparation and collation of papers agendas and briefing notes ensuring the Corporate Director is fully prepared for meetings and engagements.

The successful candidate will also be required to manage day to day business alongside oversight of a busy inbox ensuring that information is escalated as required whilst being presented in a timely and professional will liaise regularly with the Cabinet Office support team and Directorate Assistant team to ensure that managerial and political leadership activities are co-ordinated and closely aligned.

Our ideal candidate will hold a NVQ Level 4 orhaveequivalent experiencestrong IT skills and the ability to be anorganised team player and who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all ability to be proactive and prioritise workloadsmanage multiple calendarsmaintainconfidentiality as well asexperience usingdiplomacy and discretionwill be of working in a politically sensitive environment would beadvantageous.

Qualifications

We expect you to be a team player and to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all disciplines. The ability to maintain confidentiality is a must as well as the ability to use diplomacy and discretion experience of working in a politically sensitive environment would be advantageous. Previous experience working with senior leaders is essential as is minute taking experience.

You will need very strong IT skills to be highly organised to efficiently manage diaries and engagements and to have the ability to prioritise workloads.
