Disability SIL & Community Support Workers

We are currently seeking high skilled Disability Support Workers to join our caring and dynamic team to provide high quality in-home support services.

With an assorted SIL Houses and social community shifts on offer withinIpswichCollingwood Middle Park & Rosewood

Duties and responsibilities include:

• High Personal care: showering dressing grooming and medication assistance

• Social support/transportation for social activities shopping/groceries travelling to medical appointments

• Domestic assistance: light household cleaning laundry and meal preparation

• Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment

• Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs

• Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress

• Provide updates on customer progress following each service

About you:

• Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills

• Reliable & dependable

• Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

What you will need:

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)

• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

• Current First Aid certificate/CPR

• Current Australian (QLD) Drivers License

• Reliable Car registered and insured vehicle

• Smart phone with internet access

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care Home & Community Care Individual Support or Disability Services

• NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module certificate

• The right to work in Australia with ability to provide 100 points of I.D.
