Deputy Manager New Childrens Home

Salary & Package
Hourly Rate: 17.5018.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Sleep-ins: 65.00 per sleep
Working Pattern: Shift-based role with dedicated administrative time

Service Users: Children & Young People aged 1117 years
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards it is desirable.
Experience Required: Previous experience working within an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home supporting children and young people with experience leading shifts and supervising staff.

Who We Are Looking For
Our client is seeking an experienced residential childcare professional who is ready to step into a Deputy Manager position within a brand-new service.
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience within an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home.
Be confident leading shifts and supporting the Registered Manager.
Be capable of supervising mentoring and developing staff.
Promote high standards of safeguarding care planning and compliance.
Support with the day-to-day management of the home including dedicated administrative responsibilities.
Be passionate about achieving outstanding outcomes for children and young people.

You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to a car.
You only hold a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (this is not considered equivalent).
Your experience is limited to Healthcare NHS CQC Supported Living or Nursery settings.
You require sponsorship or are currently on a visa requiring sponsorship.
Individuals with only CQC experience and / or who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home will not be considered.
