We are now looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our onsite team supporting in London.
About the Role
As the Data Analyst you will be responsible for delivering insight that drives improvements across the full commercial ecosystem spanning customer experience on retailer investment effectiveness marketing and sales performance and the broader post-purchase onboarding and promotional landscape.
A core part of your remit will be the design build and ongoing management of a marketing and sales performance dashboard underpinned by Google BigQuery and delivered in Looker Studio. This will serve as a critical decision-making tool for marketing e-commerce retail and CX teams surfacing insight such as campaign uplift halo effects retailer investment impact and share performance across products and markets.
Alongside this you will analyse customer journeys benchmark competitors oversee content performance and support the planning and execution of onboarding and e-commerce promotions using platforms like GWI to create digital personas and audience profiles.
You will collaborate closely with CX marketing product and e-commerce teams as well as HQ and local market stakeholders to ensure insight informs decisions at every stage.
This role requires strong analytical capabilityexpertisein data modelling and SQL and the ability to translate complex commercial questions into dashboard logic and actionable recommendations.
What You Will Be Doing
Marketing & Sales Performance Analytics
- Design build andmaintaina marketing and sales performance dashboard in Looker Studio underpinned byBigQuery combining sell-out sales data market volume and share data and campaign activity logs.
- Define the underlying data model transform sourcefilesand design the reporting layer to support consistent scalable KPI delivery.
- Identifyand quantify the impact of retailer investment including uplift in sales and market share during campaign periods.
- Analyse correlations between campaign activity and commercial performance todeterminewhich marketing levers are most effective.
- Measure and report on halo effects across products and retailers resulting from promotional and campaign activity.
- Define and calculate key performance metrics including uplift baseline market share activityintensityand halo effects.
- Work with GFKor other syndicated market data sources to enrich performance analysis with market volume and share context.
Customer Experience & Digital Analytics
- Conduct analysis of the current customer experience including user behaviour content and campaign performance and conversion pathways.
- Benchmark key customer journeys against competitor websites toidentifygaps and opportunities.
- Provideregular insight into paid promotions post-purchaseexperienceand customer satisfaction trends.
- Support planning optimisation and operational management of post-purchase and onboarding experience.
- Analyse content utilisation engagement and drop-off points and recommend enhancements.
- Collaborate with HQ and local teams on onboarding content production and implementation.
- Support feature management including evaluation testingperformanceand monitoring adoption with ongoing analysis of content effectiveness and customer experience updates.
- Reporting Dashboards & Stakeholder Insight
- Build andmaintaindashboards reports and ad hoc analyses across customer experience onboarding e-commerce retailperformanceand promotion activity.
- Translate data into clear insights that guide decision-making within marketing CX digital and commercial teams.
- Present findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels ensuring insight is embedded in planning and operational processes.
- Use platforms like GWI to build digital personas and audience profiles that support broader marketing planning.
What You Need to Be Great in This Role
Essential
- Proven experience as a data or insight analyst within digital e-commerce retailmarketingor agency environments.
- StrongproficiencyinGoogleBigQueryandadvanced SQL including data modelling and reporting layer design.
- Hands-on experience building dashboards inLooker Studio with a clear understanding of how to structure underlying data models for robust scalable dashboard performance.
- Demonstrable experience combiningsell-out sales marketshareand campaign activity datasetsto generate commercial insight.
- Ability to define and calculate metrics includinguplift baseline market share activityintensityand halo effects.
- Strongmarketing analyticscapability including campaign effectiveness measurement across paid and promotional channels.
- Good understanding of digital customer journeys content performancemetricsand e-commerce KPIs.
- Experience with analytics platforms such asGoogle Analytics GA4 Adobe Analytics or similar.
- Excellent communication and storytelling ability capable of translating complex business questions into dashboard logic and presenting findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with multi-market teams and managing stakeholder expectations across business functions.
- A passion for data-driven decision-making and an interest in how AI can enhance analytics workflows.
Preferred:
- ProficiencyinPython (pandas)for data transformationautomationand workflow scripting.
- Broader experience withGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) including automating data ingestion and transformation workflows.
- Experience working inretaile-commerceor retailer mediaenvironments.
- Familiarity withGfK or other syndicated market datasources.
- Experience withadditionalBI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
