Cleaning Operative (Banking Environment) – Basingstoke RG21

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work within a secure banking environment in Basingstoke.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaner seeking part-time evening work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

• General office cleaning duties
  
• Vacuuming mopping dusting and polishing
  
• Cleaning washrooms and welfare facilities
  
• Emptying waste and recycling bins
  
• Sanitising high-touch surfaces
  
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  
• Following all health & safety procedures and site protocols
  
• Securing the premises where required
  
• Working independently and responsibly in a secure environment
  

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred
  
• Ability to work independently and confidently as a lone worker
  
• Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating alarm systems
  
• Excellent reliability punctuality and attention to detail
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Ability to use a telephone-based time and attendance system
  
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times
  

Due to the nature of this role within a banking environment successful candidates will be required to successfully complete the following pre-employment checks before commencing work:

• Basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  
• Right to Work verification in the UK
  
• Adverse financial/credit screening checks
  
• Five-year employment history verification including explanation of any gaps in employment
  
• Identity verification checks
  
• Address history verification
  
• Character and reference checks where applicable
  
• Completion of all client-specific security and compliance documentation
  
• Successful completion of site induction and security procedures

• 15.00 per hour
