The Role
As a Property Services Operative you will provide robust and flexible support and undertake a number of duties such as routine maintenance tasks plumbing grounds maintenance escorting and other general duties in support of the Property Operations on a site.

Day-to-day you will provide support by delivering planned or requested activities in order to effectively deliver a high-quality operations service across the MOD Boscombe Down site.

Your responsibilities will include:

• To deliver tasks as identified such as plumbing installations painting and decorating and other general services
• To ensure maintenance standards and quality of work delivered are to the required level
• To assist in resolving customer issues with outstanding tasks or deliveries
• To ensure the appropriate movement of consumables & materials across site in the ongoing management of services
• To ensure the collection of waste items from across site and disposal in the correct receptacles
• To assist the Grounds Maintenance team ensuring that the site grounds are kept to the required standard
  
  

Essential experience of the Property Services Operative:

• Ability to safely deploy equipment
• Previous plumbing experience an advantage
• Manual Handling awareness / risk appreciation
• Previous experience in a similar role

Essential qualifications for the Property Services Operative:

• Full Driving License

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Boscombe Down site.

MOD Boscombe Down is a unique operational site featuring the longest military runway in the UK. Primarily focusing on providing testing evaluation and support services for aviation and aerospace systems. Renowned for its extensive flight-testing capabilities the site plays a vital role in the UKs aviation defence contributing to the development testing and airworthiness of military aircraft enhancing operational readiness and effectiveness.
