Initial 6-month contract
Immediate start
350 per day (umbrella)
Fully remote working

Are you ready to step into a Childrens Placements Contract & Quality Officer role where you will directly influence service quality value for money and outcomes across for Children & Young People
You will be joining a fast-evolving commissioning environment under significant financial pressure where your ability to challenge providers interpret data and drive performance will be key. Working closely with commissioning leads and providers you will sit at the heart of transformation utilising benchmarking tools on a regional and national scale to ensure best value is consistently achieved.
As a Childrens Placements Contract & Quality Officer you will be instrumental in strengthening provider relationships while holding them to account on quality compliance and outcomes in addition to the negotiation of placement costs and best is a high-impact opportunity with immediate visibility and the chance to shape improvements at pace.
Your role as Childrens Placements Contract & Quality Officer:
Performance management analyse data challenge providers and drive measurable improvements
Contract oversight lead on monitoring compliance and ensuring value for money
Quality assurance design and implement robust monitoring frameworks
Stakeholder engagement build strong relationships across providers and partners
Strategic input support commissioning decisions using benchmarking insights
Your experience as Childrens Placements Contract & Quality Officer:
Proven background in Childrens Placements (Contracts & Quality)
Previous experience within a Local Authority setting Childrens Placements team
Experience in contract management & monitoring across multi-agency settings Residential and Fostering providers
Strong ability to interpret data reports and performance metrics
Knowledge of quality assurance and evaluation frameworks
