ABOUT THE ROLE
We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join ourOpenDoorteam. This is aFull Time position based in London. This role plays a crucial part in supporting WPPs mission to deliver consistency delivery excellence and best in class service for Amazon in every country across its diverse businesses. This role reports to the EU Measurement/Analytics Lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and apply a deep understanding of marketingobjectivesto support clients with comprehensive measurement and testing plans.
- Recruit manage and develop 1-3 analysts ensuring high-quality output and efficient workflow.
- Lead the creation of clearrobustand thought-provoking campaign reviews and insights and show the wider team/clients how to improve effectiveness.
- Exhibit deep understanding of marketing platform testing and targeting abilities and act in a consultative capacity in their implementation
- Deliver insightful campaign reviews with actionable recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Be a reliable day-to-day point of contact for clients and maintain robust client relationships.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for the assessment and management of bespoke measurement solutions including contracts and SOWs.
- Manage relationships with data engineering teams and set automation strategies to integrate new tools and solutions.
- Be responsible for translating client briefsto identify the most appropriate measurement methodologies includingbrandliftdigitalattributionand measurement& derivationof various exposure metrics such asmulti-media reachattention &other metrics.
- Evaluate measurement capabilities ensuring a solid understanding of their statistical robustness and limitations.
- Develop experimental designs including A/B testing multi-cellliftstudies and geo-testing with a strong grasp of the underlying statistics andlogisticsrequiredfor robust implementation.
- Deliver best in class analytical capabilities across the wider Measurement team including the use of new methods techniquestoolsand systems.
- Be conversant with the basics of AI and its integration into measurement methodologies including leveraging AI-driven tools for predictive modelingoptimisation and insights generation.
- Work with the strategy planning and activation teams to ensure the learnings frompreviousanalysis are fed back into future planning cycles.
- Lead target setting and benchmarking for future campaign performance based on historical trends and drivers of performance beyond marketing levers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You will be highly numerate: able to confidently interpret data and apply statistical tests to draw robust conclusions. Including strong understanding of statistics - hypothesis testing descriptivestatisticsand distribution theory
- Experience in analytics measurement data science or a related field
- Excellent knowledge ofadvancedmeasurement methodologies includinglift studies geo testsmeasurement frameworks learning agendas testing methodologiesdigital attributionmarketing mixmodellingand knowledge of various campaign metrics.
- Client relationship skills.
- Good working knowledge of media owner measurement capabilities and the ability to evaluate their statistical reliability.
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability todistillcomplex analytical concepts into clear actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiencyin SQL and R/Python along with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience managing people fostering collaboration and leading by example.
- Effective project management skillsto manage resources and timelines effectively.
BONUS POINTS
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS
- Holding a degree(s) in a quantitative field: Statistics Mathematics Economics Engineering Physical Science or Computer Science
- Experience with digital ad technologies (SA360 GA Campaign Manager DV360 Meta Business Manager) site analytics and tools
- Proven understanding and experience with digital ad platforms APIs
- Knowledge of market research methodologies
- Speaking any European languages
- Be an active member of relevant industry bodies ( EffectivenessMRS Media Research Group) and attend training and events.
