TheEmerald Teaminourpeoples service is looking for an Adolescent support Emerald team works with young people who are vulnerable to child exploitation or at risk of going a multi-disciplinary team approach the service aims toimpactby reducing the risks young people face.
The role ofanAdolescent support worker is to build relationships with young people and families to understandtheirneeds provide targeted support strengthen resilience and reduce riskstoprevent the need for specialist post holderwill manage a complex caseload coordinate family actionplansand work directly with young people to provideappropriateand tailored support.
The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 4 qualification orpossessequivalent substantial experience within a relevant field. They willdemonstrateproven experience of effectively engaging with children and young people alongside a strongunderstanding of the risks and indicators associated with succeed in this role you must have a thorough knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures as well as excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with a range of individuals.
