Job Summary
The Plans Officer is directly reportable to the Unit Commanding Officer or XO. They are the principle Staff Officer within a HQ responsible for the Force Preparation Force Generation and Unit commitments.
Provide SME advice to the Comd Gp on mobilisation issues including readiness across all elements of the Unit.
Interface with G7 so that the most appropriate training for the operational requirement is received/delivered.
Manager of Unit/ formation scheduling applications ensuring training and mobilisations can be achieved.
Provide G5 planning and support |
Provide oversight and prioritisation as required for all ARes Mobilisations/ Trawls
