QA Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Youll be involved across the full quality lifecycle from hands-on testing to building and maintaining automation frameworks working closely with developers and product teams every step of the way. Youll also help us make smart use of AI-assisted testing.

What Youll Do

• Build and maintain automated test suites using Java Cucumber Selenide and RestAssured.
• Integrate and manage tests in our GitLab CI pipelines for fast reliable feedback.
• Identify document and track defects in Jira.
• Use AI tools like Claude or GitHub Copilot to support test generation and code review.
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes standards and tooling in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
• Manage test plans and coverage in TestRail.
• Run and triage regression smoke functional and exploratory tests across environments.
• Define test strategies and acceptance criteria together with developers and product managers.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

• 35 years of hands-on QA experience with a strong automation focus.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in an agile and fast-paced environment.
• Strong skills in Java Selenide/Selenium Cucumber and RestAssured as well as experience with SQL.
• Familiar with using AI coding assistants and able to critically evaluate their output.
• Comfortable with GitLab CI Git Jira and TestRail.
• Good grasp of test design techniques: functional regression smoke exploratory and performance.
• Strong English communication skills both written and verbal.
• A collaborative team player who communicates clearly takes initiative and cares about doing things right.
• Background in SaaS or cloud-based products is a plus. ISTQB certification is a nice-to-have.
