Data Engineer

Our client a global multi-asset CFD and forex broker established in 2022 that operates under the regulatory supervision of the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA).

We currently open for a data engineer role. This role will be focused on building scalable ETL pipeline managing trading and CRM data and delivering reliable analytics within a global forex environtment.

Job Descriptions :

1. Design build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from trading platforms CRM systems marketing tools and internal platforms
   
2. Consolidate data from multiple sources into a unified analytics-ready data layer
   
3. Develop and maintain data models supporting reporting analytics and internal applications
   
4. Build and automate recurring business reports covering registrations deposits active traders trading volume and IB performance
   
5. Ensure data accuracy consistency integrity and proper documentation across all systems
   
6. Optimise SQL queries database structures and pipeline performance for high-volume transactional datasets.
   
7. Collaborate with Development Marketing and Operations teams to deliver scalable data solutions based on business requirements
   
8. Support the continuous development of the companys data infrastructure and internal data tools
   
9. Troubleshoot data issues and implement improvements to data quality and performance
   
10. Maintain documentation for data architecture business metrics and data workflows.
    

Job Requirements :

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role
   
2. Strong SQL expertise with hands-on experience using MySQL and PostgreSQL
   
3. Experience designing developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
   
4. Strong knowledge of data modelling data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts
   
5. Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language for data processing and automation
   
6. Experience working with large transactional datasets and ensuring data quality
   
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
   
8. Excellent documentation and communication skills
   
9. Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
   
10. Experience within FinTech Forex Trading or another highly regulated data-driven industry is an advantage
    
11. Familiarity with MT4/MT5 database schemas is an advantage
