Job Summary
POSITION AND MISSION
- Continuous update of software and hardware to secure verification and validation in HIL test beds and test vehicles for the latest software baselines
- Perform sanity checks to verify the integrity and functionality of software updates
- Fault tracing diagnosis and troubleshooting of software and platform issues
- Technical documentation according to customer standards
- Escalate issues arising from software and vehicle platforms to the right stakeholders
- Use automated flows for software download - Define required vehicle data and logs
- Collect vehicle data and capture test logs
- Perform initial root cause analysis on vehicle or component level
Qualifications :
The Ideal Profile
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Software Engineering Embedded Systems Engineering or a related field
- Strong interest in testing and validation
- Working knowledge of SWDL and diagnostics on embedded systems
- Experience in troubleshooting on HIL systems such as dSPACE Vector or National Instruments
- Experience in fault tracing diagnosis and troubleshooting on end-to-end vehicle systems - Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols especially CAN
- Fluency in English
