Storekeeper
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Perform on-time system updates for every transaction; ensure all incoming and outgoing stock movements are recorded in the system in real-time.
- Verify all incoming deliveries by cross-referencing physical items against Invoices and Purchase Orders (PO) to ensure 100% accuracy in quantity quality and specifications.
- Effective communication between Procurement Finance department and other inter departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of the department objectives.
- Ensure cost efficiency by improving system and processes for sustainable development of the business.
- Enter and maintain data in Logix SAP and inventory control system while actively supporting internal and external inventory audits.
- Handle petty cash by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all petty cash transactions including receipts and disbursements. Ensuring that the petty cash fund is balanced and reconciled regularly.
- Monitor inventory levels daily against technical team requirements to maintain optimal safety stock.
- Coordinate welfare facility for the BP staff
- Execute professional labeling and tagging of all components ensuring each item includes essential technical specifications and tracking data for immediate identification
- Proactively coordinate with management to identify upcoming order requirements based on maintenance needs or stock depletion.
- Facilitate the vendor registration process ensuring all supplier documentation is accurate and compliant with company standards.
- Maintain the stockroom according to Company Inventory Management Standards
- Strictly comply with all Company Safety Standards including the use of PPE safe handling of hazardous materials and maintaining clear emergency exits.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and spot checks to eliminate discrepancies and shrinkage.
- Identify system bugs coordinate cross-functionally with IT and management and track the progress of technical solutions to ensure on-time completion.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- Local or London O/L 6 passes with C for Maths and English
- A minimum of 2 passes for A/Ls or successful completion of UGC approved A/L equivalent
foundation course with minimum one year experience
