Job Overview
We are looking for a Laboratory Manager Chemical Laboratory to lead and oversee chemical laboratory operations ensuring technical excellence regulatory and accreditation compliance quality standards and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong laboratory management experience advanced analytical expertise and proven leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all Chemical Laboratory operations.
- Manage laboratory personnel performance training and development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory accreditation and quality requirements.
- Oversee testing activities method validation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain technical competency and operational efficiency across laboratory functions.
- Support business growth through service enhancement and client engagement.
- Coordinate and lead internal and external audits.
- Drive best laboratory practices and effective resource utilization.
Qualifications &Requirements
- Minimum 1215 years of laboratory experience including people management responsibilities.
- . or Ph.D. in Chemistry is preferred.
- Minimum 35 years of experience as a Laboratory Manager within a commercial testing laboratory.
- Proven experience in testing food commodities water soil and related matrices.
- Strong technical expertise in GC-MS GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS.
- Experience in analytical testing method development method validation and interpretation of results.
- Knowledge of regulations and standards related to agrochemical residues and contaminants.
- Experience in regulatory accreditation and customer audits.
- Strong leadership team-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to optimize laboratory resources and drive operational excellence.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong commitment to quality integrity and HSE requirements.
